Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 scoop Biogen Plant Based Protein, Vanilla Ice Cream flavour
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp almond nut butter
- ½ cup almond milk, unsweetened
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Avocado, spinach, and banana provide a beneficial dose of plant-based protein, with the protein powder ensuring your cover all your amino acid bases with a touch of added flavour and a thicker texture to keep you feeling full and energised throughout the morning.
Instructions
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
- Add the spinach, banana, almond milk, nut butter, plant protein powder and chia seeds.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add honey for additional sweetness if desired.
- Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a chilled smoothie.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
