[RECIPE] Creamy Avo and Spinach Smoothie

Enjoy this nutritious and satisfying Creamy Avo and Spinach Smoothie recipe as a healthy and delicious breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 scoop Biogen Plant Based Protein, Vanilla Ice Cream flavour 
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp almond nut butter
  • ½ cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Avocado, spinach, and banana provide a beneficial dose of plant-based protein, with the protein powder ensuring your cover all your amino acid bases with a touch of added flavour and a thicker texture to keep you feeling full and energised throughout the morning.

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Add the spinach, banana, almond milk, nut butter, plant protein powder and chia seeds.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add honey for additional sweetness if desired.
  4. Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a chilled smoothie.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
