It’s always difficult getting back into the swing of things in Jan after all those delicious surgery treats we consume during the festive season. Here’s a delicious recipe that’ll make it a little easier!
Ingredients
- 2 cups nonfat plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup agave (honey or maple syrup will also work)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Strawberries, sliced
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Chopped nuts, for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add yogurt, agave, vanilla, lemon juice; mix until well combined.
- Line a baking tray with wax paper or foil and set aside
- Transfer yogurt mixture to the previously prepared baking tray and spread it to an even thickness.
- Top with berries and chopped nuts.
- Freeze for 2 to 4 hours, or until it’s completely frozen.
- Use a sharp knife to break the bark into pieces.
- Keep in the freezer.
