Put a delicious twist on a classic breakfast treat with this Ombré Protein Flapjacks recipe, offering the complete protein solution to your morning meal.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups of self-rising flour (you can substitute half with oat or wholewheat flour)
- 1 heaped scoop of Biogen Complete Whey, Chocolate flavour
- 1 cup of milk (adjust quantity as needed)
- 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup of coconut oil
- ¼ cup of syrup or sugar
- Cacao powder
- 1½ tsp of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Syrup, to serve
- Berries, to serve

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients, adding 1 tsp of cacao powder to the dry mix. You’ll add more cacao powder later on as you prepare each flapjack.
- Next, pour in the wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth batter consistency.
- Heat up a pan on the stove. Once hot, add a touch of oil to prevent sticking. Pour approximately ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each flapjack. As you progress, gradually increase the amount of cacao powder in the batter to create the ombré effect, starting from lighter shades and transitioning to darker hues.
- Cook the flapjacks until golden brown on each side, ensuring they are cooked through.
- Serve your Biogen Ombré Flapjacks warm, drizzled with syrup and topped with fresh berries.
