L-Glutamine Green Goddess Dressing

{RECIPE] L-Glutamine Green Goddess Dressing

If you’re looking for a way to level up your meal prep while supporting your body from the inside out, try this L-Glutamine Green Goddess Dressing recipe.

It’s thick, zesty, and perfect for drizzling over bowls, dipping crunchy veggies, or massaging into kale.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium avocado, pitted and scooped
  • ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, stems removed
  • ¼ cup fresh chives, roughly chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of 1 large Lemon (about 3 tbsp)
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 scoop (approx. 5g) Biogen L-Glutamine Powder, unflavoured
  • 2–3 tbsp water
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

L-Glutamine is an amino acid that acts as a primary fuel source for the cells in your gut lining, helping to maintain a healthy intestinal barrier. It’s also used heavily by muscles during intense training, making this dressing a fantastic post-workout addition to your lunch.

Instructions

  1. Rinse the parsley and chives and pat them dry. Roughly chop them so they blend smoothly without wrapping around your blender blades.
  2. In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the avocado, Greek yoghurt, parsley, chives, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and your scoop of L-glutamine powder.
  3. Pulse a few times to break down the avocado, then blend on high for 30–60 seconds until the dressing is completely smooth and boasts a vibrant green colour.
  4. Taste the dressing and add salt and pepper as desired. If you prefer a thinner, pourable dressing for salads, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time and pulse until it reaches your preferred consistency.
