[RECIPE] Egg white pancakes

Watching your cholesterol intake? Then these high-protein egg white pancakes are egg-actly what the doctor ordered!

The protein in eggs is mainly contained in the egg white (aka egg albumin), while the yolks contain all the cholesterol. Separating them is an effective way to get the protein benefits offered from your morning eggy breakfast without the added cholesterol and calories.

Ingredients

  • 8 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp raw oats
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ tsp sweetener
  • 3 tbsp whey protein (your flavour of choice!)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Get an added protein power up by adding your fave flavoured whey protein to give your pancakes a different flavour profile.

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients at high speed.
  2. Cook in a non-stick pan like normal pancakes.
  3. When done roll up and serve with cinnamon.
