Everyone wants to have their body performing optimally and with just a few lifestyle tweaks you can get your body healthier and happier!
Here are 10 tips to ensure a naturally healthy body.
Full up on greens
Eating lots of veggies and salads should be the basis of your eating plan. They contain fiber, antioxidants, and low-gi carbs that are all great for a clean and healthy system.
Eat fibrous, filling salads for lunch and dinner.
Make sure you eat a good portion of raw and steamed veggies every day. These will keep you full as well as contain high nutrient content.
Consume the juice of a lemon every day
Lemon helps regenerate and support the liver. Squeeze them over salads, in water, or over veggies.
Avoid dairy products
We are the only beings that consume other animals’ milk. Most of us are actually allergic or intolerant to dairy as we don’t have the enzymes to digest lactose.
Sweat more!
Move every day! Whether you go to yoga, go for a run, or a cycle, just make sure you’re moving more.
Avoid all fake and artificial sugars
These are difficult for the body to recognize and break down.
Stay hydrated
Drink sufficient clean filtered water between meals, but keep your intake low during meals so as to not dilute the digestive enzymes.
Limit alcohol and ditch the fizzy drinks
Yup. even the diet variants as they deplete the body of minerals and are also acidifying.
Chew your food well and eat slowly
Not only does this extract more nutrients from food, but you’ll also end up feeling full meaning you’re less likely to overeat.
Supplements
It’s not always possible to get all the nutrients we need from food which is why it’s important to supplement what we think we may not be getting enough of, whether it be protein or vitamins and minerals.
