CrossFit combines several training techniques (functional training, Olympic weightlifting, and bodyweight training) with serious intensity, meaning you get a highly effective and challenging, full-body workout every single session.
Crossfit ensures constant progress
Crossfit training being so varies meaning you rarely perform the same routine. This means that because your workout changes daily, your body is forced to adapt. This pretty much guarantees progress as well as some serious muscle building.
Crossfit will push your boundaries
Whether you’re working out against time or for reps to set a new PB, you’re in an environment with other people making it highly competitive and conducive to top performance. When every rep counts towards your score in each workout, you’ll always be pushing yourself to the max in order to be the best.
Crossfit makes you mentally tough
Even though you can scale down a workout to match your fitness level and capabilities, these workouts are always tough. There are will be days that you’re going to want to give up but most of the time you’ll surprise yourself and accomplish something you never thought you’d be able to do.
Crossfit is a great way to meet like-minded people
Believe it or not, Crossfit involves a lot of socializing ( only before and after the workout). Once you’ve been through a workout with someone you build bonds based on shared suffering which then makes it easier to become friends. These bonds that were forged through hard work, perseverance, and sweat, can lead to life-long relationships.
