The Body Beautiful Show Virtual Edition

The Body Beautiful team are so excited to present to aspiring athletes, the opportunity to step on stage with the world at their first-ever virtual show. The Body Beautiful virtual show is a digital online venue that involves contestants competing in a virtual environment, rather than meeting in a physical location or competing on an actual stage. Each contestant’s entry must be pre-recorded, and the Body Beautiful team of professionals will then superimpose each entry into the live virtual stage so that the live broadcast presents itself as a real experience using a digital virtual platform. For this reason, contestants needed to download their show spec sheet which specifies all filming requirements necessary for them
to submit the perfect virtual entry.

Online entries opened on the 1st of August and closed on 1 November 2020.

The Body Beautiful Show is a variety performance which brings together the best of the industry in
fitness modeling, dance, and entertainment.

The Body Beautiful Show will showcase 15 categories, namely:

• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful SA Teen – Ages 16 to 21
• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful SA – Ages 21 to 39
• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful SA – Ages 40+
• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful SA Dance Fitness – Ages 16+
• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful Fitness Model – Ages 16+
• Mr & Ms Body Beautiful Muscle Model – Ages 16+
• The Body Beautiful Transformation – Ages 16+ – A showcase of contestants who have completed a
  12-week transformation journey displaying their before and after photos and their personal success
  story
• The Body Beautiful Family – An entertaining and inspiration division for the whole family to
  showcase a healthy and fit family unit
• Mr Body Beautiful Denim Jeans – Ages 16+

This year’s virtual show boasts an International judging panel, led by Head Judge, Shaye Best. They look forward to welcoming names like Mark Stent, Morgan Beatbox (The tradition to open every Body Beautiful event), DJ Shawny B and CEO, Lauren-Leigh Porter as the MC of the event.

The Body Beautiful stage has catapulted the careers of many a fitness star namely; Jaco de Bruyn, Ashley Frost Torbet, Laura Danielz, Marco Araujo, Wayne Coetzee, Stian Lemmer, and many more well-known fitness models who are now role models, influencers, and international personalities.
