[RECIPE] Kiwi green smoothie

Summer is here, which means super refreshing and filling smoothies are the order of the day!

Try this tasty kiwi green smoothie from lead trainer at Fitness Mag Studio and proud #TEAMRED Biogen-sponsored athlete, Laura Smith.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 3 kiwis (fresh or frozen)
  • 1½ servings (48g) Biogen Lean Whey, Vanilla flavour 

Baby spinach is a nutrient-dense leafy green vegetable that contains various vitamins and minerals, including vitamin K, folate and magnesium, among others. The smaller leaves are more tender and have a sweeter flavour than mature spinach leaves.

How to make it

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed above.
  2. Blend until all the spinach is well combined.
  3. Serve fresh.
