Start your day with a nourishing and flavourful bowl of Ginger-infused Oatmeal with this easy-to-follow recipe.
This hearty breakfast will fuel your body and tantalise your taste buds with its abundance of wholesome ingredients and infusion of green tea and ginger.
Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 3 bags ginger tea
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2-3 scoops Biogen Plant Based Protein, Vanilla flavour
- 1 heaped tbsp nut butter
- Pinch of salt

- Fresh fruit
- Greek yoghurt
- Dash of matcha powder
- Hemp seeds
- Honey
Biogen Plant Based Protein is a supreme daily supplement and an excellent choice of protein for athletes and individuals following a vegan or dairy free lifestyle. Rice and pea protein is free from gluten, dairy, and lactose making it easily digestible, especially with the added bamboo fibre, an excellent ingredient for fibre enrichment.
How to make it
- Add the ginger tea bags to the water in a saucepan. Bring the water to a simmer and allow the tea bags to steep until the water becomes dark. Once infused, remove the tea bags from the water.
- Add the rolled oats, milk, plant protein powder, nut butter and a pinch of salt to the infused liquid. Stir well to combine all the ingredients, ensuring that the oats are evenly coated.
- Allow the oat mixture to cook over medium heat until the oats are soft and creamy, absorbing all the delicious flavours.
- Once cooked to your desired consistency, remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Ladle the warm oatmeal into serving bowls and top with your choice of fresh fruit, a dollop of yoghurt, a sprinkle of matcha powder, a scattering of hemp seeds and a drizzle of honey for sweetness.
