Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. For the brownie layer, whisk together the melted butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in a large bowl, until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Finally, fold in the casein protein powder.
  4. For the cheesecake layer, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in the Greek yogurt.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Dollop spoonfuls of the cheesecake batter on top of the brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the two batters together, creating a marbled effect. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not completely clean).
  7. Let the bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares. Enjoy
  8. You can store extra bars in the refrigerator for up to a week.
