[RECIPE] Tiramisu Baked Oats

Looking for a new recipe idea to spruce up your morning oats?

Keep things interesting with this dessert-inspired baked oats recipe.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Biogen Plant-Based Breakfast, Cinnamon flavour
  • 1 ¼ cup plant milk
  • ¼ cup brewed coffee
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sweetener of choice
  • ½ cup dairy-free yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • Sugar
  • Strawberries
  • Fresh mint

Biogen Plant Based Breakfast is an excellent protein-rich breakfast option for the whole family. An ideal option for those following a vegan or dairy-free lifestyle, and is high in protein, fibre and energy.

Method

  1. Place the oats, milk and coffee in a bowl and mix well. Add the salt and sweetener and place in the microwave or air-fryer to bake for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Remove to cool, and top with the dairy-free yoghurt, cacao powder, sugar, strawberries and mint.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

Cacao powder contains more than 300 different chemical compounds, including beneficial flavonoids which offer powerful antioxidant effects. It is also a source of vitamins and minerals, including calcium, carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, magnesium, sulfur and EFAs.
