Power up your recovery while you warm your body and soothe that sweet tooth with this decadent high-protein hot chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk or milk alternative
- 1 serving whey protein powder, Chocolate flavour
- 1 tbsp sweetener
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Cocoa powder contain important compounds that can benefit your health, including theobromine which can reduce inflammation, and polyphenols, which are naturally-occurring antioxidants that offer several health benefits.
Method
- Warm the milk in a saucepan.
- Whisk in the protein powder, sweetener and cocoa.
- Keep whisking until it reaches the desired thickness.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
