Ingredients
- 1¼ cups rolled oats, ground into flour
- 1 scoop Biogen Premium Iso-Whey Protein
- 1-2 tbsp coconut sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm milk (add more if needed)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- Berry jam for filling of choice
- Fresh raspberries to serve
- Cream cheese or yoghurt to serve
Biogen Iso-Whey Premium Protein is a protein shake with high levels of Essential Amino Acids and Branched Chain Amino Acids. It is easily absorbed, and isolated whey has been shown to have a high biological value compared to most other whole food protein sources.
Instructions
- Combine the ground oats, Biogen Iso-Whey, coconut sugar, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the lukewarm milk, yeast, and melted butter, allowing the mixture to bubble slightly before incorporating it into the oat mixture.
- Knead the dough until it forms a smooth, elastic consistency, then roll it out into a long rectangle shape. Spread a generous layer of berry jam across the surface of the dough. For an extra touch of sweetness and freshness, scatter a few fresh raspberries over the jam.
- With the filling in place, roll the dough up into a log and slice it into rounds, creating individual cinnamon rolls. Arrange the rolls in large cups or a baking dish, allowing them to rise for approximately 20 minutes. Before baking, brush the rolls with a little more milk and sprinkle them with sugar for a golden, caramelised finish.
- Bake the cinnamon rolls in the oven or air-fryer for around 15 minutes, or until they are golden and fragrant. Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
- Serve with a generous dollop of cream cheese or a spoonful of creamy yoghurt and garnish with additional fresh raspberries.
