Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • ¾ cups ground oat flour
  • 1-2 scoops Biogen Iso-Whey, Chocolate flavour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tsp berry or beet powder (optional, for a splash of color)
  • 1¼ cups milk
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruits and smooth yogurt for serving

Biogen Iso Whey Premium Protein contains high levels of EAAs and BCAAs. It is easily absorbed, and isolated whey has been shown to have a high Biological Value (BV) versus most other whole food protein sources. Contains a Tri Matrix Protein Blend of Whey Protein Hydrolysate, Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Concentrate.

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, oat flour, whey, salt, and berry or beet powder, if using. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  3. Pour small ladles of batter into the pan, aiming for pancakes about 7-10cm in diameter.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden, then flip and cook the other side.
  5. Stack the pancakes in a bowl. Top with a generous scoop of yoghurt and a colorful array of fresh fruits such as bananas, berries, or kiwi.
