With the festive feasts behind us, it’s time to knuckle down and get to work on those 2020 fitness goals.
But before you head back to gym, you’ll need a gym bag filled with the tools to help you succeed.
Item #1: Headphones (and a killer playlist)
Whether it’s Eminem’s “Till I Collapse,” (the most streamed song for workout playlists on Spotify for the fourth year in a row) to keep you motivated or “Bust down Thotiana” to get you squatting at gym, you need a pair of headphones in your gym bag.
Go wireless to stop you from getting tangled up and take the time to put together a good selection of beats to keep you moving.
Item #2: A power source
Whether it’s a potent pre-workout to fuel your muscles, or a portable charger to keep your tracks flowing, you’ll need to keep a power source in your gym bag.
Make sure your phone’s music app or fitness tracker always work as hard as you do by keeping your power bank charged at home and pop it into your bag before you leave the house – no one has time for a dead phone when they’re smashing those fitness goals.
Item #3: Odour protection
Just because you’re working up a sweat, doesn’t mean your trainers have to carry around the smell.
Sneaker LAB has developed an advanced biotech sneaker cleaning formula dedicated to fighting odours – straight from the lab and into your fitness routine.
Keep a bottle of Sneaker LAB’s Odor Protector in your gym bag to prevent and put an end to unwanted odours.
Item #4: Sealable bags
Keep a few reusable and sealable bags with your gym kit to keep your sweaty clothes, gym gloves and towel in after your workout.
This will keep your bag and other belongings fresh. Invest in reusable options to save both your wallet and the planet.
Item #5: Wipes
Before you pack away your gloves, give them a wipe to remove any excess moisture and germs.
This is best done with a multi-purpose wipe, such as Sneaker LAB’s Sneaker Wipes. These can be used to wipe down gloves, your phone and your trainers and are a must have for any gym bag to use on-the-go.
Item #6: Water bottle
It’s important to stay hydrated while sweating it out at the gym, but consider the planet while you’re at it. Invest in a reusable water bottle to make sure you’ve got a cool drink at hand, without adding to the plastic waste choking up landfill sites.
