Award-winning Ritual Gym opens in Johannesburg

What if you could work out and still have enough time to do all of the other things that require your immediate attention? Well, now you can!

The internationally acclaimed Ritual Gym, famous for its 30-minute high results gym sessions, has opened its doors in Johannesburg. The sessions combine cardio and strength training into a super-efficient quick gym experience that trains the whole body, all while focusing on form and efficiency.

The Ritual Gym model is perfect for anyone looking to squeeze in a workout, as the sessions are focused on the concept of ‘Train. Shower. Refuel. Out.’ Members aren’t even required to wear shoes, as the floors are shock absorbent, and gym kit, state-of-the-art showers, shower accessories and towels are all provided. A smoothie bar is on site to provide quick and nutritious refuels on the way out.  With a maximum of ten clients per session, everyone receives plenty of hands-on personal attention from Ritual’s team of world-class coaches.

For added convenience, the much-lauded app means that booking sessions, tracking stats and managing memberships can all happen at the touch of a button. Sessions are available every half hour from 5:30 am to 8 pm and can be booked up to two minutes before a class begins, meaning that members can fit a workout into their day whenever it suits them.

Ritual Gym is located on the upper level of the Thrupps Illovo Shopping Centre. To sign up or book a trial session visit www.ritualgym.com.

adidas Unveil the Limited Edition UltraBOOST Parley

As part of its long-standing collaboration with environmental initiative, Parley for the Oceans, adidas Running and FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen have revealed a limited release UltraBOOST Parley silhouette to continue raising awareness for the threat of marine plastic pollution.

Inspired by the dark blues and greens of the urban harbor, the UltraBOOST Parley and UltraBOOST X Parley silhouettes fuse performance-oriented footwear technology with progressive eco-innovation. Demonstrating adidas’ and Parley‘s commitment to tackling marine plastic pollution one step at a time, every pair of the limited collection prevents approximately 11 bottles from the possibility of entering the oceans.

A limited quantity of UltraBOOST and UltraBOOST X will be available online and instore from 16 April, retailing at R3299. For more information, visit adidas.co.za or follow the @adidasZA conversation on Instagram and Twitter using #UltraBOOST #adidasParley.
