The top 12 in this year’s Biogen Face of Fitness

We’re one step closer to the top 6 in the Biogen Face of Fitness!

After another round of public voting and a top 32 meet-up event at Moove Melrose Arch, hosted by Mika Stefano, the Fitness magazine team and our competition partners are excited to announce the top 12 in the 2021 Biogen Face of Fitness…

How we arrived at 12

Getting to the final 12 is no easy feat. So much more than that ‘fitness look’ comes into play when shortlisting the ladies who might make it to the top 12.

What entrants do (or not do) on their social media also counts, as online engagement plays a bigger role in reaching and motivating more people.

This also shapes what Fitness magazine and our partners have to consider when selecting the final 12. It’s not just about a cover photo anymore but how a contestant conducts herself in the public eye and whether her values and passions align with those of the brands she will represent.

Fitness magazine and Biogen are pleased to reveal this year’s final 12 :

  1. Rirhandzu Sambo
  2. Shannon Van Harn
  3. Tremaine McMaster
  4. Tamsyn Dexter
  5. Charissa Dickinson
  6. Sherneal Joseph
  7. Bianca Tiffany Marais
  8. Angelique Samuels
  9. Jani Van Tonder
  10. Refentse Molehe
  11. Tamlyn Watt
  12. Micheline Marmol

What they’re competing for

The 2021 Biogen Face of Fitness will earn a spot on the cover of Fitness magazine’s 2021 annual issue and start her year-long contract as a #TEAMRED Biogen brand ambassador.

And the stakes have never been greater as the contestants are also competing for the biggest prize in the competition’s history!

The grand prize includes a 12-month team Biogen brand ambassador contract, with R30,000 in product and apparel and a cash prize of R20,000.

The winner will also advance her career as a fitness professional thanks to an Advanced Personal Trainer Diploma worth R18,500 from the competition’s education partner, HFPA.

The new Biogen Face of Fitness will train in style with a 1-year Moove Gym membership worth R35,988 and access to Fitness Mag Studio group workouts for a year, worth R14,400.

The competition’s new clothing partner, Decathlon, will make sure she steps out in style for every session with R10,000 in fitness apparel, while also offering her an opportunity to unlock a brand ambassadorship.

And she will capture all that hard work with a private professional photoshoot with official Biogen Face of Fitness photographer, Sean Levitt from Juiced Media, worth R4,000.

If that wasn’t enough to get her noticed, this year’s winner also walks away with a television media package worth R1,000,000 to star in a five-episode workout series with The 5 Colour Fitness Show on DSTV presented by FHA. This amazing prize includes an all-expenses-paid travel and film experience to cap off a truly memorable and unforgettable journey.

There’s no other platform that can launch a career in the fitness industry on a steeper trajectory. With so much on the line, you won’t wanna miss any of the action. Stay glued to Fitness magazine’s and Biogen’s social media feeds for all the latest news and updates.
