Whether you’re looking to avoid gluten or stick to your low-carb Paleo or primal diet, this Flour-Free Protein Brownies recipe offers a safe and delicious alternative.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 scoops Biogen Iso Whey Premium, Choc Brownie flavour
  • 2 medium bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup smooth nut butter of choice
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra nut butter for topping

Biogen Iso Whey Premium Protein is a protein shake with high levels of Essential and Branched Chain Amino Acids delivered from a Tri Matrix Protein blend that includes Whey Protein Hydrolysate, Isolate and Concentrate.

Method

  1. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add the nut butter, Biogen Iso Whey Premium, cacao powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together until fully combined and the batter is thick and creamy.
  2. Pour the brownie batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and add dollops of extra nut butter for added indulgence.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes, or until the brownies are set and cooked through. Let them cool slightly before slicing.
  4. Pair these brownies with a dollop of Greek yoghurt for a creamy contrast, or enjoy them as they are for a rich and satisfying treat.
