Date: 9 August 2020
Celebrate Women’s Day by participating in the Wonder Woman Run. Join thousands of active people who will take to the streets wearing their Justice League™ Wonder Woman T-shirts to walk or run to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves – the many underprivileged young children who need a helping hand in these trying times!
Be a hero by completing a 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km or 10km run or walk in your neighbourhood.
Participants will leave from their residence on the same day and at the same time at 8am. They will receive a T-shirt and medal, while proceeds will contribute to supporting beneficiaries such as Headstart Kids, which provides specialised, nutritional food packs to children aged between 6 months to 5 years.
Follow celebrity Super Heroes Letshego Zulu, Nicole Capper, Kagiso Sebediela, LeAnne Dlamini, Paul Rothman, Coach Simon, HeidiM (resident greatness coach) and Patron Ilzé Saunders. They will make sure eyes are bright with anticipation, and brows have the lightest trickle of sweat as they take South Africa through some crazy fun warm-up routines before the Wonder Woman Run.
Harness your favourite Justice League™ character and unleash the Super Hero within by entering The Justice League™ Virtual Run Series. Fly to www.justiceleagueseries.co.za and give the “ENTER HERE” button a KABLAM! You will unlock your Super Hero access from this page.
The events are produced by Sportsvendo, the company that brought the unprecedented success of The Color Run to South Africa. Additional 2020 Justice League™ Virtual Run Series events include:
- Sunday, 6 September: Aquaman Run
- Sunday, 4 October: Batman Run
