Durban SPAR Women’s 10/5km Challenge

Sunday, 24 June

The Durban SPAR Women’s 10/5km Challenge, one of the most iconic women’s events on KZN’s sporting calendar, which brings together women from all walks of life, takes place on Sunday, June 24 with its start in Masabalala Yengwa Avenue just outside the finish venue at the Jonsson Kings Park outer fields.

The Challenge, now in its 29th year in Surf City, attracts participants of all ages and sporting levels. The 5km fun run/walk offers an opportunity for social runners and walkers to enjoy a relatively flat course, while the 10km, part of the national SPAR Grand Prix series, provides elite runners with an opportunity to clock up points and move up the log with the overall cash prize of R185 000 in sight.

Race T-shirts and awesome goodie bags are given to all female entrants, and after completing the race, participants receive a breakfast pack. Afterwards, there is time to relax and enjoy good company and great vibes on stage and win some fabulous lucky draw prizes.
