Planning a vacation can take massive amounts of work, but one thing often left out of that plan is a health or fitness continuity plan. That may sound a little over the top, but a week or two in the sun shouldn’t ruin a whole years’ worth of careful eating and exercise.
Unfortunately, it all too often can, from the moment you step on the plane you are at risk of dehydration, the delightful local foods can quickly have you over-indulging and you just probably won’t find as much time to exercise as you normally do.
Here’s the good news though, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel in order to stay fit and healthy while you’re travelling. If you are on an active holiday then you can simply swap out some activities for the exercise you might normally do back home, if you’ve planned a more relaxing break then an early morning walk might be the way to go.
