Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I competed for the first time in September 2016 in Namibia and although I failed to place that night I knew I had to push harder to achieve my goals. I decided to move back to South Africa to pursue a career in fitness and it has been fantastic! My goal is to qualify to compete on an international level and inspire other women around the globe. My motto is – achieve what you believe!
What are your hobbies?
I train 2 to 3 times a day as I do personal training and give Quest 1000 classes (weights and cardio). The gym is my happy place and I love what I do. There is no better feeling than making others feel confident and beautiful and secure in themselves. I love the outdoors and I play action netball and underwater hockey as I believe we need a balance of all things in life. Other than that I also prep healthy meals at the gym and am involved in a mobile spray tan business.
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
In 2016 I failed to place in my first competition and pushed myself to compete again in another show in Windhoek where I placed 2nd in the Fitness Bikini category. I moved back to South Africa for greater opportunities in the fitness industry and joined a gym as a new trainer. I competed in the Welkom Classic where I placed 1st in the Fitness Bikini division 20-30 yrs and won the Overall. I then entered the NABBA Free State Provincials and achieved 2nd place in the Sports Model class. I will compete in the NABBA Nationals in Pretoria in October and my goal is to bring a gold medal back to the Free State.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?
I am always up for a challenge and USN’s Face of Fitness has been on my list of priorities for the past 2 years. I entered because I promised myself that this will be the year I will be going all out to achieve my goals!
