What are your fitness goals?

Having a curvy, hourglass figure which I work hard to maintain. My fitness goals are to get as toned as possible while still maintaining a feminine and healthy-looking body. I want to get rid of cellulite as much as possible while I still maintain my weight and shape. I want to inspire young girls and women to embrace their natural bodies but at the same time encourage them to build the physique of their dreams.Healthy, toned and shapely is always a greater achievement than just being skinny.


What are your hobbies?

I am a professional dancer, trained in modern, contemporary, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop dance. I danced and choreographed for the Lions Rugby Team for seven years (2009-2015). I’m also a trained swimmer, gymnast, and acrobat. I love horse riding and playing golf, tennis, and baseball.

I train in the gym between 4 to 5 days a week and particularly enjoy doing the Grid at Virgin Active.


Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?

I was trained in dance from the age of 8 years old and completed all of my dance exams. I have also won championships from the age of 14. I am a trained rhythmic gymnast and competed both nationally as well as internationally. At the age of 12 I earned my Colours and scrolls for gymnastics. I was a swimmer for my entire school career and swam on the A team. I also earned my Colours and scrolls for swimming. I danced for the Lions Rugby team for seven years and was also an official IPL dancer in 2009 and chosen as an official Sevens Rugby dancer/cheerleader in 2013.


Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?

I entered this competition because I have a passion for fitness, training, healthy lifestyle, healthy foods and staying in shape. I love the idea that we can sculpt our bodies into exactly what we want them to be and that it takes passion, dedication and consistency to achieve such a goal. I hope to inspire, motivate and be a role model for other women and to cultivate a vision of success and health. I also love cooking and creating new and interesting healthy meals and snacks and would love to have a platform on which to share my food, my training regime and body goals. I believe I have a shape many women aspire to and I would love to create my own e-book/programme to be able to assist with helping women to achieve the body of their dreams.
