Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
My ultimate fitness goal is to compete in the Arnold Classic Africa in the Bikini Fitness division while maintaining a healthy physique during the off-season and being able to motivate women through my fitness journey. I would also love to debunk the myth that women who lift weights are bulky and big.
What are your hobbies?
Weight lifting – it is my escape from the world, my down time.
Researching – anything, I love learning new things.
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
2017 was my first year of competing. I placed 3rd in the Bikini Fitness over 1.66m line-up at the SA Xtreme and I placed 2nd in the Bikini Fitness over 1.66m division at the IFBB Western Provincial Championships.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2016?
I am a proud mother of 3 amazing little humans, and I have Lupus – I was told that I could never have children, never mind get into any fitness-related sport – but here I am. I have always wanted to show people around me that it is possible to achieve a healthy fitness lifestyle (and body) no matter what your ‘ailments’ are.
I have a keen interest in fitness and have always wanted to go into a career where I could help women achieve their goals through mental strength, diet and exercise. This platform is a great way of being ‘out there’ and being able to motivate people through social media. I want to show all women that anything is possible, no matter your age or body type – you can be healthy, both physically and emotionally!
I am a big fan of USN, I have been using their products since 2009, when I started off on the USN Body Makeover eating plan to lose the weight I had picked up during pregnancy, right through to prepping to compete on stage this year. I have used USN’s BCAA range, the women’s vitamins, pre-workout as well as their CLA products. My favourite USN supplement at the moment is the sugar-free Spike drink. And of course I also love my Pink USN water bottle that accompanies me everywhere I go!
