Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I have always been an active person but I have only recently put my mind to challenging myself to improve my diet, strength, fitness and ultimately my physique. Health and nutrition are passions of mine and my goal is to combine nutrition and training to achieve the body I have always wanted. I am excited to see what the future holds.
What are your hobbies?
This year I started trail running which I have fallen in love with!
I thoroughly enjoy MMA fitness training as it strengthens your mind as well as your body and forces you to toughen up. Dancing is another passion of mine, from tap dancing and hip-hop to cheerleading and contemporary – I am willing to try them all! And of course, the gym is my happy place!
Do you have any sporting/fitness achievements you would like to share?
I have achieved honours with distinction for the majority of my dancing exams.
I managed to achieve 3rd place in a trail running series only a few months after getting into running (which I never enjoyed previously). I also challenged myself to my first half marathon this year which I completed in a far better time than I expected.
I qualified as a cheerleader for the IPL Cricket League in India where I was a cheerleader for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team for approximately 2 months in 2013.
Why did you enter the USN Face of Fitness 2017?
I entered the USN Face of Fitness because I believe I represent the core values that USN would like to advocate. Health and fitness are passions of mine and therefore it is easy for me to relate to people and represent the brand.
