The Arnold Classic Africa (ACA) Throwdown is an event that forms part of the Arnold Classic Africa Sports Festival which is an annual multi-sport event celebrating numerous sporting codes.

Virtuosity movement standards

It is named after the legendary professional body-builder, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The inaugural event to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre promises a sport festival like no other in South Africa.

The Arnold Classic Africa will bring to Johannesburg an expected 30,000 attendees across a wide range of sporting codes, including the coaches, friends and families who are there to support the 10,000 athletes who will be competing, of which at least 5,000 are expected to be youth athletes. The expo promises to deliver one of the largest annual gatherings of committed fitness enthusiasts on the African continent.

The mission of this throwdown is to bring together the CrossFit community from all over the country to compete for the title of fittest individual and team in South Africa. The programming for this event will cater for both advanced and intermediate athletes (RX and Scale). The ACA
