We all know what winter means: the days are getting shorter and the weather is turning sour, so you tend to spend more and more time indoors. This means your activity levels also drop off, which not only affects your mood but can also have a devastating effect on your waistline.

thanx for a great mag! I am a male 34 years old and into fitness and health. I found the men’s fitness muscle evolution mag very boring and focussing on aspects such as steroids very uninteresting and steriotypical. So i am very happy to have a subscription to the ladies mag!! I find that every issue binds me to the articles, always addressing key points in nutrition, good tips on exercizes and good information on metabolic, lean muscle mass and weight management. Perhaps it is strange for a man to use female information, but it has been improving my health, fat % and optimal heart rate zone to a great extent! So im sticking with the girls!!! Thank you very much, and please, give us more Jamie Eason!! ps, Ed., i like the new look of the mag, keep it up!

    Hi Cornell
Thank you for your message and support of the magazine. You are correct, Fitness does cater to a different type of health and fitness enthusiast than the niche bodybuilding content of Muscle Evolution. As such, Fitness mag’s male readership is, in fact, on the rise, as the content we publish is applicable to all health conscious individuals. Due to the market we just package this content for the dominant female readership in this country. We hope you will continue to enjoy the magazine and we look forward to more feedback from you in future.
