Probably the oldest myth in the fitness industry is the idea of spot reduction. This concept centres around the idea of trying to lose fat from a particular body part by doing a specific exercise, for example sit-ups to lose your tummy fat.

I have recently accumulated quite abit of fat around the tummy area and thighs.I am tall and large built so am now set on working with my body shape and not against it. I am vegetarian and need to know how much protein I am needing per day and what (no fish/chicken or dairy) to add to a weight loss/fat loss and muscle building eating regime (daily meal plans) that involves a home exercise routine (no equipment). Pls help!
